The used car market is a great place for shoppers who want a dependable and practical vehicle, without the new-car price tag. At Ziems Ford Corners, you’ll find the only area Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) lot. Every CPO vehicle goes through a thorough 172 point inspection and comes include 24-Hour Roadside Assistance and Limited Warranty Coverage. With Ford’s history of award-winning, long-running vehicles, there’s no reason to narrow the search to just brand new models. Here are some buying tips to help you purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Ford today.

Figure Out Your Budget

The first and most important step when buying a used car is determining how much you can afford, whether monthly loan payments or purchasing outright. Remember to factor in the total purchase price including tax, title and license as well as the total cost of ownership. To determine the total cost of ownership, you should include recurring costs like fuel, maintenance and insurance. Don’t worry, we have a simple to use Payment Calculator to help you with the math.

Research Your Options

Once your budget is set, you can select the right vehicle for you. Start by building a list of your needs and wants. What features are most important to you? Once you’ve done the research, you can make a list of available cars that meet your needs and fall within your price range. Kelly Blue Book is a great place to start.

Check Your Current Vehicle’s Price

If you plan to sell your current vehicle or use it as a trade-in, be sure to check its current value ahead of time so you know how much money you can expect to receive. Our handy Vehicle Valuation Tool can help you find the most accurate price.

Get Your Financing Squared Away

We offer a lot of finance options for your ease and convenience. Spend less time at the dealership by sorting out finances in advance. To help you explore your options, we have a Credit Estimator as well as online Financing Applications and approval. It’s our mission at Ziems to get you back on the road faster.

Examine And Test Drive The Car

Once all your car buying ducks are in a row, head down to Ziems Ford Corners, and take that vehicle for a ride! This the fun part, but make sure to stay objective about each test drive. Ziems staff members will provide all the facts, but you’ll still need to be the judge of how a vehicle handles for you, and whether or not it will meet your needs.

Negotiate Your Price

Once discovering the right CPO Ford, and following through on research, use your knowledge to help you reach a fair price for the used vehicle. Remember to stay within a reasonable price range and don’t overextend yourself.

Find Your Next Used Ford

The wait is finally over! At Ziems Ford Corners, we’ve been ravenous for the return of the Ford Bronco. There’s a whole world to be discovered across New Mexico and adventure awaits in every corner of the Land of Enchantment. Last night at 8 p.m. Eastern, the nostalgic off-roader returned. Just as wild as its predecessor, the new and improved Bronco is loaded with features to rival any competition.

This Is What You’ve Been Waiting For

The new Bronco comes with a choice of two or four-doors and two engine choices. Both engines are EcoBoost turbos. So, whether or not to boost, is one decision you won’t have to make. From there, the options are almost endless with over 200 add-ons, and a total of seven trim levels. The trims range from Base Model, which is just as it sounds, all the way to WildTrack – a desert runner, with 2.7 V-6, 35-inch tires, and position-sensitive Bilstein dampers. In the middle lies the Big Bend, which upgrades the 30-inch tires to a beefy 32 inches. The Black Diamond offers owners skid plates, rock rails and a locking rear differential. Throw in the Badlands model with marine-grade vinyl upholstery, a rubberized hose-it-out floor and a disconnecting front sway bar. Don’t forget about the sold-out First Edition, kitted out with maximum off-road gear and luxury options.

The Sasquatch Package

If all that isn’t enough, let’s look at the Sasquatch package. An upgrade available on any trim model, and standard on the WildTrak and First Edition, the Sasquatch Package includes 35-inch tires with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, front and rear locking differentials, Trail Control,™ 4.7 Final Drive Ratio with electronic-locking front and rear axle. There’s also a high-clearance suspension and high-clearance fender flares. Sasquatch Broncos also get a full three inches of extra track width.

G.O.A.T.™ Mode

If the Sasquatch package hasn’t piqued your interest, how about a G.O.A.T.™? Ford’s terrain management system offers eight drive modes that vary by trim, including Baja and Rock Crawl. These are referred to as G.O.A.T.™ modes, for “Goes Over Any Type of Terrain.” They can be used to adjust your drive mode to your environment.

Best in Class Clearance and Fording Depth

The new 2021 Ford Bronco is ready for any adventure. Trim level and add-on dependant, the available 11.6 inches of ground clearance bests even the Raptor. Stay clear of sharp rocks and fallen branches with ease. Combine the available clearance with a high mounted air intake, and you get a max fording depth of 33.5 inches – a depth that approaches amphibious-vehicle territory.

Good to Tow

At the Bronco’s rear, the tailgate is hinged on the passenger side and serves as the mount for the spare tire and the center high-mounted brake light. But Ford upped the Bronco’s tailgating game with a slide-out tailgate.  Below that is a receiver hitch that’s good to tow up to 3,500 pounds. Unlike the competition though, both two-door and four-door options will tow that weight.

Get Yours Now

You can put in your reservation for a legend today at Ziems Ford Corners for $100 down. Get in line, and get ready for a rugged adventure. The all-new 2021 Ford Bronco is coming to help you experience all the excitement the wilds of the Four Corners have to offer.
