At Ziems for Corners, the Ford Blue Advantage Program is providing just that, peace of mind when buying a previously owned vehicle. That’s because the Ford Blue Advantage starts with a detailed multi-point inspection and combines it with comprehensive limited warranty coverage, 24/7 Roadside Assistance and even FordPass™ Rewards Points eligibility. Driving a Ford Blue Advantage used vehicle means driving with the confidence and knowledge that the vehicle you purchased has been inspected and comes with manufacturer-backed limited warranty coverage.
Two Levels of Certification, Compare Gold and Blue Certified
The primary differences between Gold and Blue Certified used vehicles are age and mileage.
Gold vehicles are Ford Models that are up to a certain age and mileage. Blue vehicles can be any make or model that is up to 10 years old with less than 120,000 miles. As you’ll see below, the warranty coverages differ, but there are many similar ownership benefits.
Only Ford models in the very best condition can be Gold Certified if it reaches the following criteria:
Ford models up to 6 years old with less than 80,000 miles
Passed a thorough 172-point inspection
12-Month/12,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Comprehensive Limited Warranty
7-Year/100,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Powertrain Limited Warranty1
24/7 Roadside Assistance
22,000 FordPass™ Rewards Points3 to use toward your first two maintenance visits
Any make or model in top condition can be Blue Certified if it reaches the following criteria:
Up to 10 years old with less than 120,000 miles
Passed a detailed 139-point inspection
90-Day/4,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Comprehensive Limited Warranty1
24/7 Roadside Assistance2
11,000 FordPass™ Rewards Points3 to use toward your first maintenance visit
Don’t Forget History
You’ll never have to wonder about your new-to-you vehicle’s history when you purchase a Ford Blue Advantage used vehicle. As part of the multi-point inspection process, a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report is run to identify any vehicle that doesn’t meet the Ford Blue Advantage exacting standards. Ask your Ziems Ford representative for a copy of this report.
How They Do It
Each used vehicle being considered for the Blue Advantage Program is inspected by Ford-trained factory Technicians. Rest assured that every part of the vehicle like convenience features, diagnostics, condition of the vehicle exterior and interior, and hybrid system is inspected. The vehicle is put through a road test and the components under the hood are inspected. Any componant that doesn’t satisfy the Built Ford Tough standard is replaced with parts authorized by the Ford factory.
