Fall Events Happening in Farmington

Farmington Growers Market
On Saturday, September 23rd, the Farmington Growers market begins. It is a public market that has local farms bring their grown food, hand-made crafts, and mainly bringing the community together. This will run until Saturday, February 3rd. Come by and support your local neighborhood and enjoy spending quality time with your family.

For those ready to embrace the fall season, we recommend you check out the Pumpkin Festival at Sutherland Farms. Celebrate the season and experience “Fall on the Farm” by coming down on October 1st. This is always a local favorite where kids can enjoy tractor train rides, hay rides, a tour of the corn maze, face painting, and delicious food from the Purple Cow Cafe. You can always expect the best and fresh produce from Sutherland Farms.
ROAD Apple Rally
Cyclists- get your bikes ready! On October 7th, Lions Wilderness Park will be holding their annual Road Apple Rally. It is a favorite tournament for professional and new cyclists. This will be the 37th year they will be celebrating this race. Moreover, pro and expert divisions will compete for $4,000 in cash prizes.
There will be five divisions racing:
- Single Speed
The beginner course will consist of a 15 mile loop while the others ride the full 30 mile Road Apple Rally course.

Northern Navajo Nation Fair
Come take part of the Navajo Nation Fair which will include fun for all ages! The kids will find themselves never wanting to leave the “City of Fun Carnival,” the adults will appreciate the Parade or All Indian Rodeo. There are so many activities going on at the Navajo Nation Fall. We encourage all to stop by to learn a bit more about the indigenous Navajo culture. This fair runs from October 5th to October 8th.
